Avans International Business Week

Connecting and interacting with speakers from various levels of business, a multitude of sectors and many nationalities.

As IB Live assignment we ask you to register for at least five sessions apart from the Keynotes, which are mandatory for all.

You can register for all if you want, but we’ll check actual active participation as we have a maximum of participants in most of the sessions.

In the study guide and assessment form you will find more details on what is expected regarding your preparation and participation during IB Live and the follow up of the IBW.

Sessions of the International Business Week

During the IBW you can participate in different type of sessions:

Keynote (compulsory, automatic registration)
You can find these sessions already in your overview of My sessions

Plenary (optional, registration) Speaker(s)
presentation where all SPs are welcome. (no participation limit)

Interactive (optional, registration)
The speaker will give a presentation and afterwards there is plenty of room for asking questions. (participation max. 30 SPs)

Roundtable (optional, registration)
A small group discussion with the host speaker on specific topics (participation max. 10 SPs)

How to register for the sessions

To enroll in sessions you first have to login. You have received your login details in your Avans e-mail. Once you have logged in you get an overview of all sessions you can register yourself for. The mandatory Keynote sessions are already added in your personal overview of your sessions.
Be aware that to pass the IB Live (1ECTS), SPs need to participate actively in at least 10 sessions.
Obviously, you are welcome to participate in as many as you want, as long as there is room.
